We need more people to sign up as STAFF! If you want to sign up for one or both days PM me along with your shirt size.
-Lunch is usually provided
-T-shirts are free for workers
-When all students are finished and have gone home there may be a "combined course exercise."
Things to bring:
-Warm clothes (unless you want to beg for jackets like I had to)
- Sunscreen (be prepared for all kinds of weather.)
- Water (lots of water)
- Comfortable shoes, no flipflops (you may be standing around for a while or running for cones)
- Clean Mouth. The parents of these kids are going to be there as well, and while the kids may not care if you curse or not, Little Timmy's mom probably will.
DO NOT USE THE TERM AUTOCROSS OR AUTOCROSS TERMS!!! (slalom, apex, camber, caster, heel and toe, line, rev matching, toe, trail braking, understeer) the kids who are participating are learning how to drive safely, not fast.
Brian Guinn will be helping to coordinate the TRSSS at the Laurens Proving Grounds on Nov. 7 & 8.
email to TRSS staff,
"There will be hotel accommodations for this event. The event hotel will be the Quality Inn in Clinton, SC. This hotel has been recently remodeled and I have stayed there a couple of times. I think that it is a little nicer than the Days Inn that we stayed in earlier in the year and is on the other side of the interstate from the Days Inn, exit 52 off interstate 26. The nightly rate is $55 for a single or double and you only need to mention the "driving school" rate for the discount. This is the same rate as the Days Inn offered us earlier in the year and as I said I think that this place is a little nicer for the same money. The phone number for the Quality inn is ...(864) 833-5558. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call, and if I don't answer, please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible. thanks again for your support for the TRSSS and hope to hear from ya'll soon.

Jaime , if you or someone wants to cover this tonight at SWCCCR, I'd be glad to give you time. Otherwise, I'll print this out and go over details with the group.
