This setup belongs to Tony who brought his car over from Charlotte for some upgrades and a Crome Gold tune. This was using 3rd gear and revving to 7k rpms.

3rd gear went to 130mph? Is this a VX trans?

PM me info on your set-up and a time frame in which you would like to be tuned and we can go from there.

P20/A000 92-95 Civic CX/VX D15B8/D15Z1 transmission. It's a 5 speed tranny and probably the longest geared tranny in the Honda line up. Customer was using 14" wheels.

I think the customer may be looking for a tranny with shorter gearing at the moment but wants to take the car to the strip first and see how it behaves with the long gearing.

1st - 3.25
2nd - 1.761
3rd - 1.066
4th - 0.853
5th - 0.702
final - 3.25

When he runs out of 2nd gear, around 80mph he'll shift and fall back to 4200ish rpms and won't get back into full boost before the 1320

I've had a few of those trans lol, the gap is so huge between the gears it feels unreal.

Look at the bright side. Tony will still get his 45-55 mpg with that kind of gearing. Laughing
