The club garage at the the Y barn is potentially going be cleaned out within the next few weeks. There is a lot of junk in there, and Keegan and myself were not able to determine exactly what belongs to who. Regardless, it needs to be cleaned out, and will be. ANYTHING that we cannot determine ownership of will be dealt with by the club accordingly. This means it will possibly be sold, thrown out, or given away.

So, if you have ANYTHING in the club garage that personally belongs to you or you know of something in there that personally belongs to someone else, let me or Keegan O. or another officer know ASAP or it may not be there when you go to look for it again. We will make our best effort to get you your items and will not get rid of anything we know belongs to someone else.

I know this does not sound terribly fair, but that place is a mess and we cannot keep it in that state just because someone might possibly have something in there that they have not needed or wanted for years.

He just had the keys this weekend, but if someone could double check with him that would be awesome.

Are you finally going to get rid of years worth of tires?

Are we being kick out of there or you just cleaning up things? I heard from the club sports director, my boss, that we may be kicked out of there. Do not quote me on that but I heard something of that nature.

we haven't heard anything like that.

that would be horrible if it's true cause we would have no place to put anything.

talk to your boss and see if you can put in a good word for us.

Who exactly is this? We def. need to talk to club sports if this is a potential issue. We really need this place to be able to store equipment etc... Furthermore, we have used this for quite some time and we have even put in upgrades in the past for the electrical and other things. I suggest we get definitive evidence if this is an issue and get keegan, I or someone else to go and discuss this to make sure they understand that it's vital that we have the Y Barn.

Mark Ferguson, the club sport director. I do not know if he is the one in charge of this. Clemson University Campus Rec has just gain ownership of the y-barn property. So I would probably talk with them before their decide to give it to someone else.

As far as the ownership or control changing, that's all good and well, but the club has the right to be given notice of this change in policy and furthermore has the right to file a grievance with club sports and/or the university. If the Y Barn were to be provided to someone or something other than this club without notice, it would clearly be unreasonable and would in inexcusable in my opinion. We'll make sure to look into this.

I am not saying anything has happen but I know the ownership has changed and that a comment was said about possible being move out of there. A lot of things are up in the air as far as the Y-property from what I have heard. All I was says is that you need to talk with them to make sure their know we exist so we can use the y-barn for years to come.

Also I have a meeting for Club Sport tomorrow so I will ask them about it and see if I can get a clear answer.

Somebody needs to show the administration the nice article in Grassroots Motorsports about the Georgia Tech car club and the facilities they have. Nothing like a good case of penis envy to get things going. If we (Pres Barker) wants to be a top 20 school, why let GATECH out do us?

Hey, we are the motorsports college.

I think I have my old T5 Transmission in there but Bryan Carpenter and I looked and couldn't find it. if anyone sees it lying around I'll come down and pick it up.

I've still got some stuff in there. I packed up as much stuff as I could last time, but didn't have time for a 2nd trip. I'll try to get some more stuff this weekend.
